London, 1 October 2021 (TDI): Janez Jansa, the Slovenian Prime Minister visited the United Kingdom and met with Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the UK.
The British Prime Minister welcomed his counterpart in Downing Street.
In the meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen their bilateral relationship. They talked about their 30 years long relations in which their ties have expanded with time. The stability and prosperity of the Balkans region were also analyzed during their meeting.
The contemporary global problems such as Climate Change, Coronavirus, the fight against misinformation regarding vaccines and the stability of the Indo-Pacific region were also discussed between the two counterparts.
During his visit to England, the Slovenian Prime Minister also met with Liz Truss, the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom.
In the meeting, they discussed the shared agenda of enhancing the economic as well security cooperation.
They also talked about extending their cultural relations. Moreover, strategies to counter the cyber threats were also evaluated in their meeting.
