Jordanian Prime Minister meets his Egyptian counterpart

Cairo, 1 October 2021 (TDI): The Jordanian Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Bisher Al Khasawneh met with the Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly. The two counterparts discussed strengthening cooperation in an array of fields, for mutual interest.

The importance to enhance bilateral relations between the two allies hence underscored during the meeting. The Jordanian Prime Minister on his part highlighted the significance of sharing expertise related to the economic development projects with a focus on investment. Aside from that, the speedy delivery of gas to Lebanon from Egypt also came under discussion.

The Prime Minister is there in Egypt to discuss issues pertaining to mutual interest between the two allies. He is accompanied by a ministerial delegation for the visit. The delegation includes Justice Minister Ahmad Ziadat, Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Ibrahim Jazi, Minister of Public Works and Housing Yahya Kisbi, and several general managers.
