New York, 25 September 2021 (TDI): Evan Korcok, the Foreign Minister of Slovakia met with Sergey Lavrov the Foreign Minister of Russia on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Bilateral relations and cooperation were discussed in the meeting. Major international issues were also the focal point of the discussion.
Despite having different views of the world’s problems both diplomats agree to cooperate and to strengthen the bilateral relations.
They also agreed to increase partnership in the economy and to cooperate on the global challenges which threaten the security of the world.
Climate change is being considered as the undisputed biggest non-traditional threat to the prosperity of the world. This threat has united the world despite differences among countries. They are ready to collaborate with others to eliminate this problem and to make the world secure for their future generations.
