New York, 25 September 2021 (TDI): Addressing the convention for “Alliance for Multilateralism”, the German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas asserted that international partnership works for the common good.

The world is surrounded by global problems and they can be solved only by international cooperation. He added that it is not the time when states can solve their problems without the help of others. Covid-19 is the epitome of multilateralism where states were unable to control the pandemic on their own.
Climate change is also one of the problems of the world which emphasizes the importance of global cooperation.
He also mentioned the issue of Afghanistan which may affect the peace of the whole world. So he stressed solving it by cooperation with the regional actors.
