By harnessing the potential of AI, Pakistan can embark on a journey towards SMART governance strategies tailored to the needs of its citizens.

To overcome these hurdles, concerted efforts are needed to invest in digital infrastructure, build capacity in AI technologies, and strengthen data protection laws. In addition, collaboration between the government, private sector, academia, and civil society is essential to ensure that AI initiatives are inclusive, transparent, and aligned with the country’s development priorities.
In light of these transformative potentials, the integration of AI into governance holds immense potential for Pakistan to address its pressing challenges and achieve sustainable development.
