Islamabad, 1 September 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi spoke with his Canadian counterpart, Marc Garneau. Qureshi stated that Pakistan will continue its humanitarian efforts to evacuate people from Afghanistan.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister assured that Pakistan will continue its efforts in developing economy in Afghanistan. He also emphasized on politically inclusive settlement in Afghanistan and the proactive engagement of the international community in Afghanistan.
It is pertinent to highlight that Pakistan has helped in evacuation of a number of employees of the governments, international organizations including European Union from Afghanistan. More than 10,000 people have been evacuated so far. These efforts have brought Pakistan an international recognition.
