Islamabad, 1 September 2021 (TDI): General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Army Chief of Pakistan, met the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Nong Rong, in Islamabad. COAS noted that all the conspiracies that are faced by China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will fail. Both conversed on the issues pertaining to the region and agreed on the continuation of cooperation on mutual interests.
Special focus was paid to the burgeoning crisis in Afghanistan and possible measures to pacify the situations were ironed out. Furthering and solidifying the bilateral relations is the top-most priority of both, China and Pakistan. CPEC has faced undue criticism and some wicked segments are repeatedly trying to paralyze the progress of this mega project.
Both countries have reiterated the fact that no conspiracy can hurt their relationship.
