New York, 27 September 2021 (TDI): On the sideline of the United Nations General Assembly 76th session, the Secretary-General of East African Community Peter Mutuku Mathuki met with the Vice-President of South Sudan, Rebecca Nyandeng De Mabior, to discuss various issues and development project of East African Countries.
The Vice president of South Sudan showed ultimate faith in the leadership and commitment of the Secretary-General of the East African Community and manifested faith to work together for peacebuilding and economic growth.
Moreover, the President lauded and praised the Secretary-General for performing a stellar job in driving the community in the right direction.
The meeting concluded on a good note where both parties made commitments for untiring work for the peacekeeping and better future of the region.
