Saudi Foreign Minister met Turk, Kazakh, Chinese, and Tajik counterparts

Tashkent: July 16, 2021- (TDI): The Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan, Foreign Minister of KSA arrives for the International Conference on Central and South Asia “Regional Connectivity, Challenges, and Opportunities” and to ensure its participation in this conference. It is a two-day long conference that will take place from July 15 -16, 2021 at Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

On the sidelines of this important international conference, Saudi Foreign Minister met with  Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkmenistan Rasit Meredow, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi, Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi.

During their meetup, the topics under discussion were how to strengthen their bilateral ties and matters of common interests. They also shared their thoughts on the regional and international issues of common interest, and also shed light on the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in fighting against the global pandemic Covid 19 by the provision of medical aid and assistance to other countries. They have also discussed the rapidly changing regional situation in Afghanistan.
