Quetta, 14 September 2021 (TDI): On 14th-September 2021, World Food Program Provided Humanitarian assistance in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The distribution center in KPK is the initiative of WFP in collaboration with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With the unwavering support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, WFP has distributed 102 metric tons of palm dates to needy people. The nutrition assistance has reached more than 13,680 families in the province of KPK.
The Distribution center was set up with the Collaboration of the Gulf Cooperation Council WFP & Provincial Disaster Management Authority KPK. King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre also served and contributed to the Distribution Center.
WFA Pakistan expressed its gratitude to the KSA for its generous support. The distribution center has helped a lot of helpless families in North Waziristan & Bannu.
The government of KPK extended their appreciation for the tremendous support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
