Moscow, 15 September 2021 (TDI): Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, held a detailed meeting with Bashar al-Assad, President of Syria.
President Putin congratulated his Syrian counterpart for solid performance in the presidential election.
He went on to say that Bashar enjoyed popular trust despite the challenges and tragedies of the past years. Moreover, Putin claimed that by working together we have liberated the Syrian Republic.
Both sides talked about joint efforts which produced a positive result. Syrian President appreciated Russian humanitarian assistance to Syrian people and restoring trade, economic ties, and social sphere. Moreover, the assistance of medical equipment and vaccine from Russia played a huge role in dealing Pandemic in Syria.
