Moscow, 1 October 2022 (TDI): President of Russia Vladimir Putin sent greetings to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the Republic of China.

China observes a public holiday known as the National Day of the People’s Republic of China on October 1 annually. This day marks the official announcement of the formation of the People’s Republic of China on that date in 1949.

Russian President’s message to China

The President of Russia sent a congratulatory message to the President of China, Xi Jinping. The message says,

“China has achieved widely recognized success in the socioeconomic sphere, science, and technology, as well as in many other fields. Y

our country enjoys well-deserved authority and prestige on the international scene and plays an important and constructive role in addressing topical issues of the regional and global agenda.

Russia-Chinese relations are developing dynamically in the spirit of all-round partnership and strategic interaction.

Despite the complicated international situation, we are cooperating successfully in the most diverse areas, pooling our efforts to build a more democratic and equitable world order and counter modern threats and challenges.

I would like to reaffirm our readiness to continue our dialogue and close joint work for the benefit of the friendly nations of the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China.

Russia-China bilateral ties
