14 June 2021: Today, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had a telephonic conversation with the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. Both sides expressed and exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest. They talked to reaffirm their commitment to deepen the long-term multidimensional partnership between Pakistan and Russia.
Earlier Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation was in Islamabad in April earlier this year. Islamabad put significant emphasis on Pakistan’s relations with Russian Federation especially. Both sides are working together on finalizing the Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline project that will soon be initiated. This will further strengthen the bilateral ties.
