Madrid, 2 October 2021 (TDI): Bogdan Aurescu, the Foreign Minister of Romania visited European Union Satellite Centre (SatCen) headquarters in Madrid and met with Sorin Ducaru, the Assistant Secretary-General of NATO.
The Romanian Foreign Minister was visiting the headquarter of the European Union Agency supporting the EU in the field of Common Foreign and Security Policy, by analyzing data from space-based assets. Bogdan Aurescu was also accompanied by the likes of the Romanian Ambassador in Spain and Ambassador of Spain to Romania.

Moreover, Sorin Ducaru, the Director Ambassador of SatCen, shared the specialized work of geo-spatial analysis to assist the decision making in the policies of the European Union such as Defense Policy, Foreign Policy, Environmental Protection Policy etc.
Furthermore, in the meeting, they also discussed the projects in which Romania would be interested.
The delegation acknowledged the work of SatCen for the prosperity of the EU. The Romanian Foreign Minister hoped that the SatCen will continue to produce high-quality projects for the safety of the European Union.
