Bucharest, 10 January 2022 (TDI): On Sunday night, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi left Pakistan for a visit to Romania. He, during his 3-day visit, will meet with government and private leaders in Romania and Spain.
After receiving an invitation from the Romanian Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi prepared his delegation to travel and meet his counterpart. He, following the issues of mutual interest of both States, discussed regional and international issues.
Foreign Minister visit activities in Romania
That is why Pakistan Minister already met Romanian MEPs, parliamentarians, think tank leaders, and key business stakeholders. Besides gathering with members of the academia such as Pakistani councils and ambassadors. They all joined in the different discussions in politics, economy, and social issues.

Not to mention that Shah Mahmood Qureshi has just inaugurated the Pakistan Cultural & Trade Exhibition Center in Romania. This is because despite there being a decrease in trade and economic agreements between them, their will to strengthen their relations is present.

So that, the center aims to serve as a cultural boost space to exhibit Pakistani export products. Especially for visitors to appreciate the Pakistan market diversity and reliability.
Itinerary of the Foreign Minister trip to Spain
On the other hand, Pakistan Foreign Minister is heading to Spain to continue with his official trips. He will hold wide-ranging consultations with Spanish ministers and parliamentarians.
This is because Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares invited Shah Mahmood Qureshi to Spain to address new strategies. Particularly concerning their countries and the Framework of the European Union.
For this reason, the Spanish minister hopes to deepen his country’s ties with Pakistan. Mainly highlighting their recent 70th anniversary of relationships in November 2021. In addition, Shah Mahmood Qureshi will visit José Manuel after his trip to Pakistan last September.
In this line, Pakistan Foreign Minister will stay in Spain for 3 days since his arrival in the capital.
