Islamabad, 5 August 2022 (TDI): Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), in collaboration with Huawei, launched Smart Solutions.
This initiative will enable enterprises to run critical applications with smart Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services that are completely reliable and secure through one-window operations.

Zarrar Hasham Khan, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer, PTCL & Ufone, and Abrar Ali Khan, CEO of Rockville Technologies, signed the first contract for Smart Office Solutions at the event.
Furthermore, Mengqiang, Chief Executive Officer Huawei Pakistan, Daniel Kirk, Vice President of Strategy in Huawei’s Global Carrier Enterprise Unit, and Haroon Khan, Head of IT Infrastructure at Khushhali Microfinance Bank, attended the event.

PTCL-Huawei Collaborations
In 2017, Huawei Partnered with Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL). Since then, they have collaborated on several initiatives to provide better network services.
Recently, in June 2022, PTCL deployed the AirPON solution from Huawei. It is a Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) solution that enables mobile network infrastructure to extend its Fiber footprint and improve Ownership cost.
In September 2020, they deployed a 10-Gigabit-capable Symmetric Passive Optical Access Network (XGS-PON) in Pakistan, which speeds up the network speed up to 10x.
