Providing vaccines to Pakistan is the priority of China – Amb. Nong

Islamabad, 10 August 2021 (TDI): On Tuesday, the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Ambassador Nong Rong in a tweet said that providing the COVID19 vaccines to Pakistan is the first and foremost priority of China.

Referring to the recent arrival of Chinese vaccines to Pakistan under COVAX, Nong mentioned that providing vaccines to all the developing states is the goal of China and while achieving this goal Pakistan remains the priority of China. He also mentioned that China will provide COVAX with $100 million in aid to fulfill this goal.

China has stood firm with Pakistan since the outbreak of the pandemic. On Monday during the meeting with President Alvi Nong mentioned that China will provide Pakistan with almost 6 million vaccines by the end of this week and almost 100 million by the end of the year.
