Riyadh, 9 December 2022 (TDI): Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of Egypt, and President Xi Jinping met in Riyadh on December 8. The strategic importance of China-Egypt relations has grown even more clear, according to President Xi Jinping.
In order to progress the China-Egypt comprehensive strategic partnership and create a community with a shared future, the two countries must cooperate.
President Xi Jinping emphasized that China strongly supports Egypt in doing so. It supports defending its national security, sovereignty, and development interests, by selecting a development.
Projects
China is prepared to expand its Belt and Road partnership with Egypt. It will guarantee the timely and high-quality completion of the CBD and train projects in the country’s new administrative capital.
Additionally, China will ensure the success of the China-Egypt Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone, among other significant cooperation initiatives.

Moreover, China is prepared to increase its collaboration in investment and financing, joint vaccine production, and aerospace, as well as to buy more high-quality goods from Egypt.
China-Arab Community
China intends to take advantage of the first China-Arab States Summit’s opportunity to collaborate with Egypt on creating a China-Arab community with a shared destiny.
Increased cooperation
China wants to improve communication and collaboration with Egypt in the areas of low-carbon technology, green economic sectors, and energy transition.
China is ready to step up cooperation with Egypt in the UN and on other multilateral platforms. It will jointly promote true multilateralism and uphold the basic norms of international relations.
In addition, China will safeguard the common interests of developing countries, and promote peace and stability in the region and beyond.

President El-Sisi
According to President El-Sisi, China has made significant development advancements and improved its international standing under the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China.
Furthermore, President El-Sisi stated that Egypt is happy to have a great friend like China and looks forward to further strengthening the bilateral relationship in a number of areas.
