Bishkek, 7 October 2021 (TDI): Kyrgyz Foreign Minister, Ruslan Kazakbaev had a telephonic conversation with his Belarusian Counterpart, Vladimir Makei.
During the conversation, the Heads of the Foreign Affairs agencies of the two countries discussed the organizational aspects. They discussed the agenda of the upcoming meetings of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). They also discussed the Council of Heads of State of the CIS countries and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. These meetings will be held in Minsk, the Republic of Belarus.
During their conversation, they highlighted their joint agenda during the meeting. Minister R. Kazakbaev informed about the socio-political and socio-economic situation in the Kyrgyz Republic. They also discussed the aspects of bilateral cooperation. Both parties agreed to maintain an active political dialogue at the highest level. They also discussed the schedule of upcoming meetings within the framework of international organizations.
