Ramallah, 15 March 2024 (TDI): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Palestine strongly denounced the escalating violence and crimes perpetrated by colonialist militias and their terrorist elements across the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
These attacks have been characterized by the deliberate burning of numerous Palestinian vehicles, the destruction of hundreds of perennial trees, and the obstruction of roads to prevent worshippers from reaching the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron.
These actions, carried out under the protection and supervision of Israeli occupation forces, reflect a coordinated effort aimed at advancing the agenda of creeping annexation in the West Bank and seizing more Palestinian land.

The systematic campaign of violence and intimidation serves to deepen the suffering of Palestinian communities and undermine any prospects for peace and stability in the region.
By allowing and even enabling such actions, the Israeli authorities not only violate international law but also contribute to a cycle of conflict and unrest that threatens to spiral out of control.
The Ministry called on the international community to take immediate and decisive action to hold the perpetrators of these crimes accountable and to pressure Israel to end its illegal occupation and colonization of Palestinian territories.
Failure to address these ongoing violations only fuels further injustice and perpetuates a cycle of violence that must be broken for the sake of peace and justice in the region.
The Ministry observed that the militias and those who assisted them intensified their crimes against the people of Palestine, their land, their property, and their sanctities the more a nation imposed penalties, even partial ones, on the colonialists.

Regarding this, the Ministry applauded the US administration’s decision to impose further sanctions on the two terrorist bases of the colonialists and three of their components.
It also demanded that terrorist organizations affiliated with the colonialists be added to terrorist lists, that sanctions be applied to the entire racist colonial system and those who uphold and defend it, and above all, that Ministers Smotrich and Ben Gvir and their adherents be subject to sanctions.
