Pakistan’s unwavering support to Afghanistan despite all the allegations

Kabul, 15 August 2021 (TDI): On Sunday, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced that it will run five additional flights to Afghanistan.

Additional flights to Afghanistan have been requested by international organizations. These flights will help to evacuate foreign workers who are stranded in Afghanistan. According to reports, Mir Rehman Rahmani, the speaker of Afghanistan’s National Assembly, and Ustad Mohammad Mohaqiq, along with numerous other officials, boarded a PIA flight to Islamabad. Earlier, Mansoor Ahmed Khan, Pakistani Ambassador to Afghanistan, also thanked Pakistani officials in Kabul for their bravery and support for Pakistani and Afghan nationals living in Kabul.

Due to the precarious situation in Afghanistan, foreign countries are urging embassies to close their doors and return their officers and diplomats. Despite all of the allegations and blame games, Pakistan continues to help Afghanistan and provides security to both Pakistani and Afghan nationals.
