The Pakistani representative shared a video message to the UN community on the occasion of the completion of a centennial by the CPC. He said he is honored to convey felicitations to the Chinese people on the occasion and he believes that the formation of the party was a seminal event in history.
He commended the role of the CPC in leading the Chinese people from the depths of poverty and despair to the heights of achievement and the astounding transformation and national consolidation of China under its leadership. He called the achievements of CPC unprecedented in the annals of history and declared the support of his country for China’s efforts to safeguard world peace, reinvigorate multilateralism, preserve international order and advance global development.
He said that Pakistan’s time-tested friendship with China, and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, which is a major project of the Belt and Road Initiative, provide an enduring framework for the continued strengthening of bilateral ties. And their All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership remains a strong anchor for peace and prosperity.
Mr. Akram concluded by saying Pakistan will continue to work hand-in-hand with China at the United Nations to advance the noble cause of peace and development not only for our countries but for all developing countries.
