Pakistan’s Foreign Minister meets his Uzbek Counterpart

Tashkent, 25 August 2021 (TDI): Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Foreign Minister of Pakistan, had a meeting with Abdulaziz Kamilov, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan.

Both sides emphasized the importance of coordination on regional objectives of peace and prosperity. They also discussed the unfolding situation in Afghanistan. They agreed on a coordinated response to the developments in Afghanistan. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister expressed Pakistan’s support for a comprehensive political settlement in Afghanistan.
