Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan meets Estonian Counterpart

Nur-Sultan, 4 October 2021 (TDI): Pakistani Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Sajjad Ahmed Seehar met Ambassador of Estonia to Kazakhstan, Toomas Tirs.

Ambassador Sajjad welcomed the Estonian counterpart and showed gratitude. Both Ambassadors discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation. Pakistan recognized the Independence of Estonia on 8 September 1991. The diplomatic relations between Estonia and Pakistan were established on 20 September 1993.

The parties discussed issues of cooperation between Pakistan and Estonia. They also discussed the political, socio-economic, humanitarian, and security aspects of the region. They noted the significant need to strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Islamabad and Tallinn.

Special emphasis was given to the contemporary situation in Afghanistan. They noted that an inclusive government can bring stability to the region. They also discuss that the international community must play an integral role to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe in Afghanistan. Both sides agreed that stability in Afghanistan is important for the peace and development of the region.

Toomas Tirs thanked the Pakistani Ambassador for his warm hospitality. Both sides agreed to maintain dialogue on regular basis for future bilateral cooperation.
