Tunis, 13 October 2021 (TDI): Tahir Hussain Andrabi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Tunisia, met with Anouar Triki, President of the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade, and Handicrafts (UTICA) Sfax Region.
UTICA is a Tunisian employer’s organization that represents the industrial, trade, and craft sectors. UTICA was founded in 1947 and represents over 150,000 private enterprises in Tunisia, excluding tourism, banking, and financial services. There are around 25,000 union officials in the confederation.
The meeting was held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Tunis, Tunisia on Tuesday.

The officials exchanged views on ways to enhance trade links between Pakistan and Tunisia through targeted, multi-sectoral initiatives. And discussed the bilateral relations between the countries.
Pakistan and Tunisia established diplomatic relations in 1957. Pakistan and Tunisia have signed a number of framework agreements in the fields of trade as well as tourism, culture, information, and industry.
