In Canada, the Pakistani community celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi

Ottawa, 20 October 2021(TDI): EID Milad-un-Nabi was organized by the local Pakistani community to commemorate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Muslims throughout the globe celebrate Eid-Milad-un-Nabi on the 12th Rabbi ul Awal of Islamic calendar.

The event was attended by a huge number of individuals of Pakistan and other countries.

Ameer Khurram Rathore, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Canada, stated that the most important lesson in the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the purification of the self in physically and spiritually. The only route to eternal salvation is to live out the Prophet’s teaching.

Recitations from the Holy Quran and the recital of numerous Naats were included in the program.

Special prayers for the growth and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah and Pakistan completed the ceremony.
