Kazan (TDI): Dr. Sharmeen Fayyaz, a young Pakistani researcher associated with the National Institute of Virology at the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research (PCMD), ICCBS, University of Karachi, has earned international recognition by winning the Best Young Researcher Award at the Kazan Global Youth Summit 2025.
Specializing in virology and molecular medicine, Dr. Sharmeen received the award during a ceremony graced by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary, Coordinator General of OIC-COMSTECH, along with several distinguished international guests.
Congratulating her, Prof. Choudhary praised the achievement as a milestone for Pakistan, remarking that such recognition is not just a personal success but a moment of pride for the entire Muslim world.
