Pakistani National Assembly Speaker urges world to cooperate with Afghanistan


Peshawar, 2 November 2021 (TDI): Pakistani National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar on Sunday, 31 October 2021, said that Pakistan is playing an important role in the establishment and maintenance of durable peace in Afghanistan and urged the international community to collaborate with it in all sectors too including trade.

Addressing a public meeting at Marghuz town in Swabi, that peaceful Afghanistan is vital for the progress and development of the region and that it would provide passage to Pakistan exports to Central Asian Republics (CARs) and Middle East business market.

He said that Pakistan have been on the right road to development due to Prime Minister Imran Khan as it is in a new phase and has made great progress.

Asad Qaiser said that Pakistan has strong relations with Afghanistan and wants stability and peace in the brotherly country. This is essential for the region and the rest of the world.

He also stated that Pakistan’s government, people, and military fully support the Afghan people. They need the support of the world community to achieve stability and peace.

Moreover, the projects under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), would improve economic activity as well as provide opportunities for employment. He claimed Swabi was the recipient of unprecedented amounts in funds during the current government sector.

Asad Qaiser stated this was the first occasion that the district received such significant representation as Swabi had not granted a major ministry before the present government. Besides, CM Mahmood Khan, Federal Minister, Murad Saeed, Provincial Ministers Shahram Khan Tarakai, Taimur Saleem Jhagra, and MPA Aqibullah were also present on the occasion.
