Pakistani Ambassador meets with Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister

Beijing, 2 November 2021 (TDI): Pakistani Ambassador to China Moin-ul-Haque met with the Assistant Foreign Minister of China Hua Chunying.

The meeting was held on 1 December 2021 in Beijing. The two sides discussed the bilateral relations of the two countries. They emphasized strengthening the cooperation between the two ironclad friends. They agreed to enhance cooperation between the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Offices of the two sides.

The Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister stated that Pakistan has always been the priority of China in its diplomacy. She emphasized that China is looking forward to further expanding its cooperation with Pakistan in the future.

China and Pakistan to develop Joint Media Strategy

Hua Chunying highlighted that China and Pakistan are all-weather friends. She pointed out that China is aiming to develop a joint media strategy to present the common narrative of the two states on bilateral relations. The joint media strategy will help to counter the false propaganda against the bilateral relations between the two states.

Pakistani Ambassador Moin-ul-Haque acknowledged the efforts of the Information Department of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in enhancing the relations between the two friends. He also expressed gratitude to Hua Chunying for underlining the Pakistani endeavors for regional peace and prosperity.

The Pakistani envoy to China underscored that the friendship between the two states was established by the successive generations of the two countries. He pointed out that Pakistan and China withstood at the times of the challenges which deepened the mutual trust on both sides.

Moin-ul-Haque stressed that Pakistan supports China on its core interest issues. He stated that Pakistan will use all the existing channels between the two countries to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

He also thanked the Chinese Foreign Ministry department for assisting the Pakistani delegation in holding the events on the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

China and Pakistan have strengthened their friendship by deepening mutual trust by helping each other in difficult times. The two countries are also benefitting from the win-win cooperation on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). CPEC has been facing false propaganda from the West. The joint media strategy between the two sides will help in negating the false propaganda affecting bilateral relations.
