Asad Khan met with Farah Ali, the co-founder of Pakistani Women in Computing (PWC)

Washington D.C, 22 November 2021 (TDI): Asad M. Khan, the Pakistani Ambassador for the United States of America (USA) had a digital meeting with the co-founder of Pakistani Women in Computing (PWC), and the Vice President of Technology Growth Strategy at Electronic Arts (EA), Farah Ali.

Asad M. Khan congratulated Farah Ali for her success and achievements. He appreciated her for overseeing many Pakistani American Women excelling as entrepreneurs as well as her efforts in establishing the Pakistani Women in Computing Community.

The two discussed means of collaboration to further advance PWIC’s mentorship in Pakistan. They aspire to create opportunities for women in Pakistan within the technology sector.

Over the years Pakistan’s government has been trying to break the barriers of restricting women in various fields. Women are being supported to excel in whatever field they like and this step is also being taken to support women in Pakistan.

Farah Ali is a successful Pakistani American woman who has made her name in renowned places such as the Electronic Arts (EA). After gaining good experience in the field Farah Ali is now dedicated to providing such great opportunities to potential Pakistani women. She is also making a community called the Pakistani Women in Pakistan community.

Pakistani Women in Pakistan community is a platform that allows Pakistani women to collaborate, grow and create opportunities for themself and their global allies. The vision of the program is to allow women to connect, grow and learn together.

The Pakistani Ambassador discussed the efforts being made to support women. The Pakistani government is keen on empowering women in all fields whether it is technological, political, security or government. This is a great initiative taken to promote women in Pakistan.
