Islamabad, 19 April 2024 (TDI): Pakistan has announced hosting the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi for bilateral talks commencing from 22nd April 2024.

The Iranian President Raisi shall pay a three-day official visit to Islamabad.

“He is coming. We welcome them. The visit is on the card for April 22nd, 23rd and 24th. We are making full preparations for it,” Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar informed the reporters.

The Pakistani Foreign Minister rejected the idea of postponing the President Ibrahim Raisi’s visit in the backdrop of a military standoff between Iran and Israel.

“This visit had been planned for weeks and months before the incident occurred,” the Pakistani Foreign Minister explained.
