Colombo, 4 February 2023 (TDI): During her ongoing trip to Colombo, Minister of State of Pakistan, Hina Rabbani Khar met with the Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka, Ali Sabry.
During the meeting, the Minister of State congratulated Foreign Minister Sabry on the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Independence of Sri Lanka.
The two Foreign Ministers reaffirmed their dedication to maintaining cordial ties between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

In addition, they talked about all aspects of their bilateral relations and decided to increase their multifaceted cooperation in the fields of politics, business, trade, defense, and education.
In this vein, the two counterparts also decided to keep working together at the UN and SAARC, among other international forums.
