Dubai (TDI): Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Zubair Motiwala, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at the 10th Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition held at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Tuesday.
Also present were Consul General Hussain Muhammad and Trade Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan, who joined the TDAP chief and ambassador in welcoming Pakistani exhibitors to the prestigious event, a press release stated.
Ambassador Tirmizi highlighted that 21 Pakistani companies, under the banner of TDAP, along with 8 independent exhibitors, were participating in this year’s exhibition.
The Pakistani firms are showcasing a diverse array of food industry solutions, including food ingredients, processing and packaging technologies, printing, labeling, and supply chain solutions.
Speaking at the inauguration, TDAP Chief Zubair Motiwala expressed satisfaction over Pakistan’s debut participation in the food processing segment at Gulfood Manufacturing.

He underscored the importance of this platform for Pakistani companies to demonstrate their capabilities in packaging and food processing to a global audience.
Gulfood Manufacturing, a prominent event in the food processing and manufacturing sector, has brought together over 1,200 suppliers from more than 60 countries.
The exhibition emphasizes digital innovation and advanced manufacturing techniques, heralding a new era in food production.

The Pakistan delegation, led by CE TDAP, the ambassador, and senior consulate officials, visited each stall at the Pakistan Pavilion, engaging with exhibitors and discussing their offerings.
The commercial section of the Pakistan Consulate in Dubai provided extensive support to Pakistani exhibitors, ensuring smooth participation and logistics during both the preparation phase and the exhibition itself.
