United Nations (TDI): In a message to the UN community on the Right of Self-Determination Day, Pakistan’s UN Ambassador Munir Akram has called for fulfilling the global community’s promise of freedom given to the people of IIOJK.
“Right of Self-Determination Day serves as a solemn reminder that the promise of self-determination to the people of IIOJK remains unmet,” Akam stated, emphasizing that this commitment, outlined in multiple United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions, remains both a moral and legal obligation for global community.
“As the world grapples with pressing challenges, the struggle of Kashmiris serves as poignant reminder of the significance of upholding international commitments and human dignity,” he said.
