Islamabad, 26 December 2022 (TDI): Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), spoke with the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

During the telephone conversation, the two Foreign Ministers reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing and deepening bilateral cooperation in all areas of shared interest while reiterating the two countries’ comradely ties.

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan also thanked the monarchy’s leadership for providing Pakistan with crucial flood relief aid.

It is pertinent to note that the international conference on a climate-resilient Pakistan will be held in Geneva on January 9, 2023, and this was informed by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

The Saudi Foreign Minister’s assured efforts to strengthen and reinforce Pakistan’s post-flood reconstruction and rehabilitation.

The recent events in Afghanistan were also a topic of discussion between the two counterparts. They stressed once more how crucial it is to protect women’s rights and ensure their full and equal participation in all facets of life.

Additionally, they reaffirmed their support for security, stability, and peace in Afghanistan and stressed the value of international cooperation in creating a more secure future for Afghans.
