The delegation from Belarus was led by the Deputy Minister for emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Bolotov. It arrived with the cargo at Islamabad International Airport on December 21, 2022.

The IL-76 cargo plane brought frame tents, fuel pumping stations, diesel generators, blankets, medicines, children’s and adults’ clothing, water-cleaning, water-conditioning, and water-disinfection kits, hand sanitizers, and antiseptics.

On February 3, 1994, the Republic of Belarus and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan established diplomatic ties. Both Belarus and Pakistan uphold cordial ties that, in a relatively short period of time, have grown into a complex partnership.

Over the past 15 years, the amount of bilateral trade with Pakistan has ranged from $50 to $120 million annually. In order to address urgent issues on the international agenda, Belarus and Pakistan are working closely together.
