Pakistan facilitates International Media Personnel to evacuate from Afghanistan

Islamabad, 15 August 2021 (TDI): The Taliban have taken control of most of Kabul. The security situation was alarming.

Fawad Chaudhry, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan, stated that the Pakistan press section in Kabul has accepted hundreds of visa applications.

Pakistan supported international media to evacuate from Kabul as the condition in Afghanistan was deteriorating. Pakistan being the neighboring country of Afghanistan is concerned.

To facilitate the evacuation of international media personnel from Kabul, Pakistan has offering its utmost support and cooperation. Fawad Chaudhry also prayed for peace and stability in Afghanistan, as the stability of Afghanistan is significant for the region. Afghanistan’s security condition is deplorable and deteriorating as the Taliban has taken control.

Pakistan during this alarming condition is helping the international actors and personnel as well as Afghanistan to restore peace in the region.
