Kabul, 15 August 2021 (TDI): The Chinese Embassy in Kabul issued a statement on Sunday regarding the Chinese nationals in Afghanistan.
As the Taliban captured Kabul on Sunday, the Embassy issued a statement, in which it urged the different Afghan parties to ensure the safety of the Chinese nationals, Chinese institutes, and the Chinese interests in Afghanistan.
The statement issued by the embassy assured the help of the embassy to the Chinese people and mentioned that no casualties of any Chinese citizen have been reported as of yet. The embassy also advised the Chinese nationals in Afghanistan to strongly follow the security situation in Afghanistan.
