Islamabad (TDI): In response to India’s unprovoked aggression under Operation Sindoor, Pakistan’s Armed Forces have launched a coordinated and precise retaliatory operation, Bunyan ul Marsoos, deploying its cutting-edge aerial and missile defense systems. The operation and the weaponry being used sends a firm message of deterrence and Pakistan’s advanced military capabilities.
Fatah-I and Fatah-II: Strategic Game-Changers
As part of today’s response, Pakistan used its Fatah-l guided rocket systems with pinpoint accuracy. This battlefield support missile — developed indigenously — played a crucial role in targeting Indian military infrastructure near the Line of Control (LoC) and deeper into Indian territory.
According to military experts, the Fatah-l version is a short-range missile capable of striking targets up to 140km [87 miles] away. The Fatah-ll version is more advanced and can reach up to 400km [248 miles].
Both missile systems are capable of carrying conventional warheads and are part of Pakistan’s strategic deterrence posture. The successful deployment of Fatah-l today reflects the operational maturity and technological self-sufficiency of the Pakistan Army’s missile corps.
As per reports, Indian BrahMos missile storage site in Beas, Punjab has been knocked out in the first instance.
However, there are conflicting reports about the deployment of Fatah-ll and nothing can be confirmed yet.
JF-17 Thunder Block III and Hypersonic Arsenal
In coordination with Fatah-l strikes, JF-17 Thunder Block III fighter jets, integrated with CM-400AKG hypersonic missiles, conducted precision strikes on military airbases including Udhampur and Pathankot.
The hypersonic missiles, traveling at speeds up to Mach 5, penetrated enemy defenses with precision, striking command and control centers and air defense networks. The JF-17 Thunder Block III was used to destroy Indian S-400 defense system which is a Russian Technology.
National Defense Doctrine in Action
Pakistan’s modern multi-domain strategy, integrating air, missile, and electronic warfare assets, has successfully neutralized Indian military threats today without targeting civilian areas.
This precise and responsible use of military power reinforces Pakistan’s defense doctrine: credible minimum deterrence and responsible retaliation.
Pakistan remains committed to peace but will not compromise on sovereignty or national integrity. As tensions escalate, Islamabad calls on the international community to take serious note of India’s destabilizing actions and play an impartial role in restoring peace and regional stability.
