Baku, 26 April 2023 (TDI): The Pakistan Embassy in Azerbaijan is delighted to host a group of students from the Azerbaijan University of Languages for a short internship. Ambassador Bilal Hayee met with the Azerbaijani students.

The Pakistani embassy and consulates worldwide regularly promote the benefits of cultural awareness and global communication fostered by educational and internship exchange programs.

As part of this program, students will explore various aspects of the association between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. Additionally, they will research Pakistani culture, cuisine, and history.

Studying Pakistani cuisine will be a crucial component of the internship. Pakistani food is recognized worldwide for its diverse flavors and rich culinary traditions.

While in the embassy, students would taste various Pakistani dishes and learn about the ingredients and spices used in Pakistani cooking. They will also comprehend the cultural significance of food in Pakistani society.

In addition to learning Pakistani cuisine, students will also have the opportunity to discover Pakistani history and culture. The students will research the country’s art, music, literature, and architecture.

The history of Pakistan is also worth exploring. The country has a rich and varied history, with influences from different civilizations, including the Indus Valley civilization, the Mughal Empire, and British colonial rule.

Ambassador Hayee stated that during their internship at the Embassy, the Azerbaijan University of Languages students would be able to learn more about Pakistani culture, food, and history.

Students would immerse themselves in the Pakistani community through this fellowship. They will also interact with Pakistani diplomats and learn about the nation’s foreign policy, economic prospects, and investment opportunities.

Hayee also mentioned that this fellowship would improve students’ awareness of Pakistani society while enhancing ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

He asserted such cultural interchanges would foster acceptance, respect, and understanding across other nations and civilizations. This program will serve as a template for upcoming cultural exchanges between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
