Islamabad, 19 April 2023 (TDI): The Azerbaijan Embassy recently hosted a tree-planting ceremony at F-9 Park Islamabad to commemorate Heydar Aliyev’s 100th birth anniversary. The event was a big success, with notable diplomats from Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other nations attending.

The Embassy planted 100 trees in honor of Heydar Aliyev, a visionary leader, and statesman. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) assisted and collaborated during the event.

The crucial guests that attended the occasion included Kazakhstan Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin and Uzbekistan Ambassador Aybek Arif Usmanov. They were accompanied by Pakistani senator Muhammad Talha, Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, Chairman of CDA, and other visitors who shared an affection for environmental conservation.

Ambassador Azerbaijan stated the tree-planting event was a tribute to Heydar Aliyev and a statement of the Embassy’s dedication to environmental conservation. The Embassy believes that everyone must help safeguard the environment.

It hopes that planting trees will encourage others to support environmental protection. The Embassy also acknowledges that ecological protection is critical for the long-term growth of our world and that every individual can contribute to achieving that objective.

Furthermore, he stressed the importance of sustained cooperation and alliance between Azerbaijan and Islamic states.

Kazakhstan Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin appreciated the Embassy’s initiative. He underlined the significance of environmental protection in achieving sustainable development.

Kistafin asserted that the world’s nations must work together to combat climate change and preserve the world’s biodiversity for future generations. He also remarked that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan’s strategic partnership and cooperation are crucial in advancing environmental sustainability.

Uzbek Ambassador Aybek Arif Usmanov commended Azerbaijan’s dedication to environmental conservation. He also highlighted the significance of regional collaboration for safeguarding natural resources and fostering sustainable development.

According to Pakistani Senator Muhammad Talha, planting trees is a noble endeavor that considerably benefits the environment. It is an initiative that everyone should embrace and support because it is a critical step toward a greener future.

Furthermore, he recognized The Azerbaijan Embassy’s efforts to plant 100 trees to commemorate their National Leader’s birth anniversary as a noteworthy deed demonstrating their commitment to conserving the environment for future generations.

Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, Chairman of CDA, noted that the Embassy’s choice to include notable leaders from various nations illustrates the necessity of working together for the more significant benefit. He underscores the importance of international cooperation and unity in attaining common goals.
