Qingdao, 18 October 2021 (TDI): Pakistan and China celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two brotherly countries. The event was celebrated by the launching of the Pakistan Cultural Festival. The celebration was kick-started by a light show in Qingdao.
The China-Pakistan friendship is steeped in historical ties. Over the last seventy years, the two allies have closely collaborated in a wide array of fields.
Pakistan is China’s all-weather strategic partner and both the partners working jointly in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. In addition to that, the close people-to-people contact between the two nations has further augmented the ties.
Various performances were part of the show.
A group of dancers also commemorated the occasion by dancing on Sohni Dharti, a famous Pakistani national song.

The event was attended by Wang Luming, director of the Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Moin ul Haq. They also addressed the participants on the occasion.
