Pakistan Condemns Israel’s Aggression in Gaza

Islamabad (TDI): The Foreign Ministry of Pakistan has, once again, strongly condemned the ongoing aggression by Israel’s occupying forces in Gaza.

The indiscriminate violence has resulted in the loss of thousands of innocent Palestinian lives, including women, children, medical personnel, and humanitarian workers; marking yet another dark chapter in Israel’s brutal occupation.

According to the official statement released by the Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, Pakistan has denounced Israel’s recent military offensive since it violated the ceasefire.

This fresh Israeli offensive is aimed at establishing new security corridors, including the illegal seizure of the Morag Corridor and further annexation of Palestinian land.

The deliberate targeting of a UN-run clinic in Jabalia, which housed over 700 displaced civilians, demonstrates Israel’s blatant disregard for international law and humanitarian principles.

Pakistan also condemned Israel’s genocidal actions and its clear intent to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from their homeland which, Pakistan believes, amounts to war crimes under international law.

The statement noted that there is significant concern regarding the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex by Israeli occupying forces on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr.

This provocative act not only undermines the sanctity of one of Islam’s holiest sites but also highlights Israel’s intention to escalate tensions and pursue expansionist occupation, jeopardizing regional peace.

The destruction of homes and infrastructure, along with the forced displacement of countless Palestinians due to ongoing bombings and air strikes, is wrong and unjust by all principles of humanitarian law.

These serious violations of international law must stop now, the statement stressed.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry extended its unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and called for the establishment of an independent, viable, and contiguous Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

“The international community must act decisively to prevent further loss of innocent lives and to preserve the sanctity of holy sites” read the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
