Islamabad, 8 September 2021 (TDI): Pakistan’s Navy day was celebrated with full national devotion and honor in order to remember the sacrifices and iconic contributions of Naval heroes for their motherland in the 1965 war.
8th September marks the source of inspiration and gratification for future generations of Pakistan. On the nights of 7 and 8th September 1965, seven major warships of the Pakistan Navy with the special code ‘SOMNATH’ attacked the Indian port of Dwarka.
The Chief Admiral of Pakistan Navy, Mohammad Amjad Khan Niazi delivered a speech at the ceremony of Navy day. He stated that Navy day is a glorious recollection of our nation’s history. Today, the Pakistan Navy has emerged as a potential naval force in the region. Officers, men, and women of Pakistan remain firm and protect Pakistan, with zeal and dedication.
