Abu Dhabi, 12 January 2023 (TDI): The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai.

Shehbaz Sharif arrived for a two-day visit to UAE. The Prime Minister was welcomed in Dubai by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, who also wished him well for Pakistan’s future growth and development. He also expressed gratitude for the delegation’s warm welcome.

He emphasized the value of the relationship between Pakistan and the UAE and said that Pakistan views the UAE as a reliable political and economic partner.

He also underscored the need to find new ways to strengthen Pakistan-UAE ties across the board. Both leaders talked about ways to improve current bilateral ties at all levels for the good of both countries.

In order to discuss trade and investment opportunities and turn them into concrete partnerships, they highlighted the importance of intensifying and bolstering communication between the private sectors of the two countries.

Sheikh Mohammed praised the Pakistani community’s commitment and laborious efforts, which made a significant contribution to the development of the UAE.

Shehbaz Sharif commended the historical ties between Pakistan-UAE and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to working closely with the UAE leadership to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
