Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania celebrate 30 years of diplomatic relations

Oslo, 28 August 2021 (TDI): The Ministry of Norway congratulates Norway and Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania for the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations. The countries are also allies in Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) family.

The NB8 is a regional group of the Nordic and Baltic countries Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden. Under this organization, the countries cooperate in mutual trade, defense, foreign policy, and energy. The group is a unique alliance as it includes both member and nonmember states of EU and NATO.

The countries celebrate with various public events and demonstrations.
