Deng Li met the outgoing Tunisian Ambassador to China

Beijing, 28 August 2021 (TDI): On Thursday, Deng Li, the Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister, met with Dhia Khaled, the Tunisian Ambassador, as he completed his term in China.

Deng Li spoke highly of the Tunisian Ambassador for his hard work in promoting relations between two states. He also hoped that after returning to Tunisia, Khaled will keep doing efforts to further develop Sino-Tunisian bilateral relations.

While stressing Beijing’s willingness to work in partnership with Tunisia and enhance bilateral ties, the Assistant Foreign Minister also highlighted the noteworthy progress in ties between China and Tunisia.

In response, Dhia Khaled paid his respect for the support Beijing has shown to him during his tenure. He also thanked China for cooperating with Tunisia during the pandemic. Lastly, He assured cooperation from Tunisia to China, at the international and regional levels.
