Islamabad: June 25, 2021 -(TDI): The Nigerian minister of industry and commerce Mr. Gabo Sabo Moctar along with the Niger delegation to Pakistan, attended the Mini exhibition and trade conference held in Islamabad.
The Nigerian delegation is on an official tour of Pakistan. The ICCI Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry also hosted a dinner for the delegation last night. Both Pakistan and Niger are keen to improve trade ties with each other.
On the occasion Niger’s minister welcomed Pakistani investors to invest in Niger agriculture, pharmaceutical, textile industries, etc. He reaffirmed the stance of the Niger government which aims at prioritizing trade with Pakistan in different sectors.
The ICCI president Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan while addressing at the occasion said that “Africa is a vast market,” he highlighted the idea that Pakistani companies should ensure better integration into Niger’s markets so that they may properly assess the African area for trade and investment.
