Pak-China friendship tree at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs


Islamabad: 25, June 2021- (TDI):  Friendship tree planted by Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Ambassador of China Nong Rong, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations. Chinese Diplomat Nong Rong presented a political note regarding the gift of 7000 saplings to support the Clean Green Pakistan Movement and Ten Billion Trees Torrent Program started by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The Foreign Minister on this occasion praised the Chinese Administration and the CPC for lifting 800 million individuals out of extraordinary destitution in a brief span of 40 years and for initiating the Chinese nation’s endeavors for peace and improvement. In this ceremony diplomats from the Chinese embassy, senior officials, and Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood from the foreign services office took part.
