Amsterdam, 15 August 2022 (TDI): The Embassy of Pakistan in the Netherlands hosted Pakistan’s 75th-anniversary celebrations on 14 August.

Independence Day celebrations
On the occasion of the 75th independence day of Pakistan, Pakistan Embassy in the Netherlands organized a flag hoisting ceremony. Deputy Head of Mission for Pakistan in the Netherlands, Muhammad Wasif, hoisted Pakistan’s flag at the ceremony.
Several dignitaries as well as other people attended the ceremony in the embassy. Additionally, Pakistan’s National Cricket team also visited the embassy on this auspicious occasion. Furthermore, the captain of Pakistan’s National cricket team, Babar Azam, extended his heartiest felicitations on the occasion.
The Ambassador of Pakistan to the Netherlands, Suljuk Mustansar Tarar also congratulated the people of Pakistan on the 75th Independence day. In addition, the Ambassador said that 14th August holds great importance for the people of Pakistan because on this day, Pakistan was considered an independent country in the world.
Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day
Pakistan got independence on 14th August 1947. Every year, on 14 August, the Independence Day of Pakistan is celebrated with great joy.
Moreover, on the occasion of Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day, both the Prime Minister and President of Pakistan gave their messages to the people of Pakistan. The President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi said “On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Pakistan, I extend my heartiest felicitations to the entire nation.”
“This year, we are also celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of our independence and in this regard, various ceremonies are being organized across the country.” the President added.
Shahbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan also congratulated the whole nation on the auspicious occasion. The Prime Minister said, ” The 75th Independence day is a watershed moment in our nation’s history.”
